Cat House is not a fully vegetarian restaurant but deserves a listing here due to the extensive vegan options and resulting popularity with vegans. I am pretty sure that every option can be made vegan if you ask. They sell curries, falafels, burritos, Burmese Tea leaf salad as well as other salads and their pumpkin/sweet potato/regular potato fat chunky fries are particularly popular. They also sell a particularly good range of cakes, since about half of them are vegan and taste great.

I find the curries to be a bit on the small side but they taste good and come with a little salad so they are nice for a lighter option. The falafel is very good here. A dish that should get a special mention is the burrito which is quite unique. I believe it is made with lentils which I have never come across before. It’s delicious and can easily be made vegan if you just request no cheese.

They also sell some delicious smoothies, a few flavours of kombucha and tea and coffee with plant-milk options. They also sell some alcohol. They are open particularly long hours from 7.00 AM until 10.00 PM, every day. They actually also have a second branch nearby called Cat Shack with a few less options on the menu and it’s open less hours.

This restaurant is unsurprisingly popular with many foreigners and tourists due to the central location, great tasting dishes, extensive vegan dishes and a lively atmosphere. You can also make group bookings here if you have a special event. It makes a good place for one.
