This fully vegan café and restaurant opened up in 2020. It is a sparkling new place with very modern and clean décor, located quite far out of town towards Hang Dong. Be warned that the prices are rather high for Chiang Mai especially for one that is not in the city, but the quality of the dishes make the price and the trip worth it as they are some of the best we have ever tasted.

As well as Thai dishes some of which are even served with vegan egg, you will find all kinds of western dishes as well such as spaghetti with meat balls, fried cauli waffles, curried fries and fried calamari. If you’ve ever tried the famously good country fries at Goodsouls, the ones here are basically the same. The wimpy burger is really quite something with cheese sauce literally dripping out of it and a very delicious patty that is made of beans and vegetables rather than any of the imitation meats. We found all of these dishes mentioned outstanding.

There is also a range of desserts for which their lava cake is particularly well-known due to winning the Root the Future award. We have tried a molton cake which when split open has a chocolate sauce that pours out, it is especially decadent and delicious.

We hope that most people will not be put off by the prices and the distance as we were to start off but now wish we’d taken the plunge for it sooner. We will be back as there are so many more interesting dishes on the menu we’re excited to try.
